When you install a VFR Oklahoma airport series number 10 and above. You will be placing 2 files into the FS2000 "Pilots" folder. One uses a file extension of FLT and the other WX. Using these files allows me to give you a realistic starting point on the field.
The best and most realistic way to start is at a ramp somewhere on the airport, not at the end of a runway. Using these will put you in a predesignated spot on the field and in a default FS2000 aircraft. You will then start the plane and taxi to the desired runway for take-off. You can access the starting point through the Flights menu on the top tool bar. Go to Select Flight and choose the ramp you want to start at.
